The Sacrament of Confirmation is one of the seven sacraments instituted by Christ. Its effect is the special outpouring of the Holy Spirit as once granted to the apostles after the Resurrection. The sacrament of Confirmation strengthens our faith and gives courage to live according to the Gospel.
CONFIRMATION 2024/25
Application packs can be collected from Fr. Pawel or Miss Bowman after all Masses at SS Mary & John’s Church on the following Sundays: 1st September, 8th September, 15th September and 22nd September. At this time an appointment will be made to meet Fr. Pawel and return the completed pack. The catechesis course begins for parents and children on Monday 21st October 6pm in the Parish Hall.
